CVS Health
SUMMARY
The Network Pricing team is responsible for completing a network pricing form that captures all the client pharmacy network benefits for CVS Health. The team has been working on Microsoft Access to complete the form and needs to migrate to a cloud web-based application to improve efficiency and accuracy.
MY ROLE
Full-stack Designer
Lead user interviews, co-design workshops, and user testings and share findings with the team
Iteratively built, tested, and rebuilt features to deliver a functioning MVP
Shared designs with business stakeholders on a bi-weekly basis
Timeframe
May 2021 - February 2022
LEARNINGS
Focus on MVP: based on user testings and co-design sessions, determine which features are crucial and which features could be saved for a future roadmap.
Engage engineers in the design process: invite them to user interviews and facilitate weekly design sync sessions to help engineers gain user empathy and to receive feedback/recommendations on the designs.
Embrace ambiguity: understand that a solution is not immediate. Innovation is a messy and ambiguous process. Explore new directions as a team, trust the design process, and trust the team.
OUTCOMES
The biggest outcome of my project was delivering MVP designs that satisfied business goals and stakeholders and improving accessibility in the future roadmap. Outside of my immediate project, I facilitate a 30+ person Figma workshop that enables designers on our team to transition into Figma from Sketch and onboard new designers about our design systems on a quarterly basis.
All of my work is under an NDA, so please reach out to me if you have any questions regarding my work.
